Xan Lazaridis grew up in Toronto, where she pursued her passions, drawing, painting, ceramics, graphic design and photography. As a child, she felt the allure of natural spaces amidst an urban landscape. Her stunning candid photographs create self-inquiry and a deeper understanding of the social network happening in constant cycles throughout the natural world. Biodiversity, seasonal cycles, and the elements are her main subjects. Exhibits include, 'From the Forest Floor' at the Stonebridge Art Gallery, the BMFA Juried Art Show, honorable mentions in the 9th Annual Mobile Photography Awards, and Clay Design in Toronto.
